The BCIT library now subscribes to ASTM Compass which provides online access to the current and historical ASTM standards, ejournals and ebooks. There is also a neat feature that allows you to compare the current version of a standard to the previous version. Access is restricted to BCIT faculty, students and staff, login required from off-campus.

I want to find the most recent selection of ASTM standards, and find a specification for a tensile test method, and the title and number of the specification

If you are BCIT student or staff member you can access the current ASTM standards through ASTM Compass http://0-compass.astm.org.innopac.lib.bcit.ca/ You will need to login with your A# and password. You can use the searchbox on the lefthand side of the screen and search “tensile test method” You can then limit your results to Standards, using the checkbox options on the lefthand side of the screen.

Hi Sebastian,
The link has changed since the original post.
Find the most current by going to BCIT Library (www.bcit.ca/library)>select e-Resource collections>select View database A-Z listing>scroll down the list to ASTM Compass.
You will need to authenticate with your BCIT email and password.
