Guichon Alley Planters Get an Update

February 9, 2023 by Sarah Campbell Leave a Comment

The planters in Guichon Alley have been refreshed. The planters in the alley, which were installed in 2015 had begun to show wear. They were assessed and it was determined that only the planters tops needed to be replaced, minimizing waste. Two carpentry students were hired to replace the tops, and sand and apply a fresh coat of stain to the planters. They also reinstalled the metal fish that were created by the Metal Fabrication department to highlight the culverted creek.
