Planter surrounds were added to make the planters more prominent in the alley. They were designed by a Carpentry instructor and built by Carpentry students. These surrounds enhance look of the self-watering planters while not compromising their efficiency. They are also designed so they can be deconstructed or relocated in the future if necessary.
