“Hear and Now Festival” will release in virtual edition this year.

Whistler doesn’t have only beautiful nature, but it also has beautiful local music. There are many incredible local music bands and music festivals in Whistler, and one of the most popular Whistler music festivals is called “Hear and Now”.

“Hear and Now” is a Whistler’s local music festival which is represented by Arts Whistler. The festival includes live music from many up and rising local favourites from the beautiful Sea to Sky region in order to celebrate Whistler’s thriving music scene. Furthermore, this festival is located at Village Square in Whistler Village and runs for 2 days typically in September from 11 am to 7 pm.

However, because of the Covid-19 pandemic the “Hear and Now Festival” is changing the format of the festival in 2020

Arts Whistler announced that the “Hear and Now Festival” will be released in a virtual edition. The show will release on the Arts Whistler’s Facebook page and their YouTube channel every Thursday from October 29th, 2020 until March 04h, 2021 at 7 p.m. Furthermore, there are 17 local music bands that will attend the “Hear and Now Festival”  this year. Each episode will highlight one of the bands chatting about their songs and many interesting topics related to the concert.

Here is the list of the 17 local music bands that will attend the “Hear and Now Festival” in 2020 with performance dates.

– Marble Canyon (Dec. 3)

– Stephen Vogler & Some Assembly Required (Dec. 17)

– Little Earthquakes (Jan. 7)

– Lozen and the Get Down Brothers (Jan. 14)

– Introduce Wolves (Jan. 21)

-Cat Madden (Jan. 28)

-Feral Nifty (Feb. 4)

-Kostaman and the Good Vibrations (Feb. 11)

-The Railtown Prophets (Feb. 18)

-Ev Kinsella & the Campfire Soul (Feb. 26)

-Red Chair (March 4)

 

Therefore, for those of you who want to see these Whistler’s music bands and enjoy the festival, you can see the festival starting this Thursday on the Arts Whistler’s Facebook page and YouTube channel for free!!!.
