The images below were taken early morning in a clear-sky day of mid-October. During these days the daily outdoor conditions had been warmer and sunnier for this time of the year. The images show foggy wet portions of the cladding due to water condensation.
In the Figure below, only the center portion of each panel is wet. Why?
• Does it have to do with the clear sky?
• Does it have to do with thermal bridges?
• Does it have to do with thermal mass?
• Over time, will the appearance and durability of the aluminum panels be affected?
• Will the wetness eventually deteriorate the aluminum panels?
