Following Prime Minister Trudeau’s announcement yesterday that Monday, September 19, 2022, will be a holiday for federal government employees to mourn Queen Elizabeth II on the day of her state funeral, BCIT will also be observing the holiday on Monday, September 19 and the Institute will be closed for working and learning. This decision is in line with the provincial government and the broader public sector.
