BCIT embraces changing industry with rename of its business school

Particularly in an era of digital transformation, media has become a powerful tool in influencing the success of businesses – relaying information, interpreting data, and connecting people. The demand for ethical and quality journalism and communications is greater than ever and BCIT is addressing the importance of this dynamic field by renaming its business school to the BCIT School of Business + Media.

As the only business school in BC that offers programs in Broadcast and Media, Animation and Gaming, Web and Mobile, and Communications and Graphics, the BCIT School of Business + Media reflects the growth of media and digital arts programs at BCIT. Each program offers hands-on learning opportunities and close industry connections to ensure students are job-ready when they enter this vibrant and creative industry.
