Virtual reality partnership gets real

It’s no secret that BCIT students regularly get hand-on experience with some of the most innovative tech around. And Vancouver just happens to be a burgeoning global hub in the fast-growing realm of virtual reality businesses.

So it would only follow that BCIT is now a member of the Vancouver chapter of the VR/AR Association. Students, faculty, and researchers are now connected to a rich network of innovative companies (and people) in the virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality sectors.

Virtual reality projects already on-the-go, include Microsoft HoloLens anatomy lessons and 3D-scanned automotive transmissions. Read the full news release here.
