Getting drafted to the NHL is a dream to a lot of hockey players going into the big leagues and going up against your idols that you have watched on TV that are still playing NHL hockey right now. It’s amazing.

Gavin McKenna is one of a one-of-a-kind player; he got drafted 1st overall by the Toronto Maple Leaf’s. The Leaf’s, when they got the first overall pick, were really excited.

The staff, the coaches and even the managers were so happy to get the first overall pick because they knew one hockey player who has the talent that they want on their team, and that is Gavin McKenna’s talent.

When they started doing training camp, the coaches were watching Gavin McKenna’s plays and seeing him rushing through the ice with control and speed. Just from the point of view, Gavin McKenna skated back and forth, back and forth, finding ways to get the puck on his stick.

He was moving with fast pace, passing the puck to his teammates, making amazing plays; the players were seeing his potential and were excited to see what he can do in a real NHL hockey game, especially in the regular season.

The practice was looking good for Gavin McKenna showing that he still has his skills and is ready to use them on the ice in the regular season. even after practices he was even having fun with social media especially about how he loves his cookies just doing fun trends that everyone young athlete likes doing.

The Toronto Maple Leaf’s fan bases have been exploding on the internet on how they are excited to see Gavin McKenna play in this regular season and they are even thinking that he is going to be very good this year. The coaches were even saying how they are excited to see the talent.

The Toronto Maple Leaf’s organization is really excited to have Gavin McKenna on the Maple Leaf’s and they are ready to see what he is capable on the ice. Even Gavin  McKenna is very excited because t become the first overall pick in the draft and becoming an NHL player was his biggest dream.

And now he is about to be showing the world his hockey skill to millions of hockey fans around the world and since he is a rookie he might have a chance at becoming Rookie of the Year which would be in his biggest achievements.
