Toronto Blue Jays: Team Report

The Blue Jays stuck are trying to fight for a playoff position and to keep themselves away from elimination, and they had a wicked game just recently.

The Blue Jays went up against the Detroit Tigers in their home field roger arena to try to get a win after having a losing streak of 2 games in a row. The atmosphere of fans was everywhere, and the Blue Jays fans were just hoping to see their Blue Jays win this game.

Everyone there was crowded; the stadium was full of loud noises of fans just shouting out the word let’s go, Blue Jays clap, clap, clap, clap, clap. Let’s go, Blue Jays, just to send a message of support to the Blue Jays players to hopefully give them the big motivation of their support.

The game was really close for a bit, but the Blue Jays just kept stopping the Detroit Tigers from scoring and keeping their score just to only one point. But the Blue Jays were losing by only one point, and the fans were just shouting and still cheering for the Blue Jays, seeing Vladimir Guerrero and Kazuma Okamoto just batting away, trying to get some points.

The Blue Jays were able to tie the game with a flyout sacrifice point to make it 1-1 in the in the bottom of the 4th inning.

With 2 outs and Smith now on 3rd base and there 9th at bat straw walks on ready to swing at the ball and to try and get smith to home base to take the lead the fans were holding there hands together and then bang base hit and straw hits a base hit for smith to get on to home base to take the lead in this game the fans were shouting with happiness and couldn’t stop smiling the crowd went wild and the game kept going well for the Blue Jays.

They kept there lead very good against the Detroit tigers and now they had a 5-1 lead at the bottom of the 9th inning and the Blue Jays finishing pitcher Varland just needed to put the game away the crowd was excited they got 2 outs it was a 3-2 count the fans were going nuts and some were scared to see if they let in a walk or not.

Varland goes for the pitch and boom the commentator says ball after the empire and then Varland saw something and said challenge and they went to see if it’s a ball or not having the fans become nervous.

And then the commentator said it is a strike and the fans shouted with excitement and Varland goes to hug Valenzuela after winning the game for the Blue Jays and ending there losing streak.

This game meant so much to the fans and showing that there is still hope for the Toronto Blue Jays to make it to the playoffs.
