Bastille

Today we are going to bring you a rock band founded in London, England. Welcome to the crazy world of Bastille: when people listen to everything, we disrupt.

Bastille (Bastille rock band) is led by lead singer Dan Smith, combining Will Farquarson and Kyle Simmons two versatile, proficient guitar, bass, piano, keyboard members, plus Chris Wood responsible for percussion and electronic synthesizers, diverse styles with ingenious music, he was even selected as the opening guest of the tour by the British rock group MUSE.

After the band released their debut single and EP, they signed with Virgin Records. They released their debut album Bad Embryo in March 2013. The album topped the UK Albums Chart after its release, with its hit single “Pompeii” reaching number two on the UK Singles Chart. The orchestra was nominated for four awards at the 2014 Brit Awards and won the Best Breakthrough Artist award.

To say that Bastille is a walk between indie and pop, perhaps we can see it more clearly: Bastille rose from the indie band to the top of the major charts, then went on to perform in major music festivals, and then went on a world tour, and even reached After passing Taiwan, it is still conducting a new tour in the United States and Canada; stepping on the line with an independent attitude has drowned out the mainstream or non-mainstream positioning.

In the past, Bastille had a sad song “Oblivion”, and it also impressed you with the vast and heroic “Pompeii”. Bastille, who is good at filling the album with various styles of songs, is definitely not suitable for being defined.

Bastille has never been easy to judge the genre, they are a rock band, but they subvert your rock rules.
