A new show store is opening up in Vancouver and it’s not a regular shoe store. They don’t just sell regular shoes, they sell waterproof shoes! They open in November at Metrotown and they’re going to be needing staff members so if you think you’d like to work at a store like this, you should keep a lookout for their hiring posts. The stores name is Vessi. They have nailed the timing of when to release their store and products. Winter is almost here and those inevitable rainy days are coming for us all! I know that I hate the feeling of having wet socks and shoes when I’m commuting anywhere. These waterproof shoes seem like the answer for a not so wet winter.

A waterproof show doesn’t seem like an actual possibility for some reason. Like, how do you even attempt to make it waterproof? I’m not a shoe manufacturing connoisseur but I’m genuinely intrigued to see if these shoes are actually waterproof. The skeptic in me doesn’t believe that it is completely waterproof. Like, there has to be some water that gets through the show if it’s a super rainy day, which Vancouver has a reputation for in the winters. The optimist in my wants to believe that these shoes are the real deal. I want to believe that they are going to save me from that feeling of walking with wet feet.

With the way that they’ve marketed these shoes, I would be disappointed if there were to be any drops of water entering a Vessi shoe. As far as how the shoes looks, they have a few different versions of the shoe that look really cool but some of them just look similar to the other pairs. But the reason to buy Vessi shoes is not based on aesthetics but more to do so with the function. Needless to say, I want to find out how good these shoes are for myself.
