Celebration 75 Years of Freedom

The Second World War has always been one of the most painful memories of all mankind. But in the dark age of fighting against the Nazi and the imperialism, many people who yearn for freedom have been fighting until the final victory. During World War Two, Canada also played a very important role. Many Canadian soldiers fought bravely against the Nazis in the European battlefield and Netherlands. Now, 75 years have passed, but we will never forget it. We will never forget how hard it is to live a happy and free life today. So, in honour of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Netherlands and also the 75 years of freedom, the Dutch Liberation Canadian Society has hosted an exhibition that includes the Dutch experience under Nazi occupation and how the Canadians helped the Dutch; and also how the Canadian Forces liberated the Netherlands from Nazi. Not only that, but the exhibition also includes the immigration of Dutch citizens to Canada and how the Netherlands during World War Two.

If you are interested in the history of World War Two, this exhibition is suitable for you. This event will end on November 15 and the location of this exhibition is the Vancouver Maritime Museum. The hours of the museum are Thursday to Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. The admission is $13.5 for adults and $11 for seniors.
