Knowledge Base

Building Science Centre of Excellence Research Database

The Research Database is a comprehensive listing of books, reports, and research articles with a focus on the design, construction, performance and maintenance of the building envelope. It also includes relevant research topics on current trends in the industry such as green buildings, sustainability and durability. It is an excellent resource for anyone in the residential construction industry. The database is currently under revision and is not available.

BCIT Library Building Science Resources

The BCIT Library has a number of databases relating to engineering, energy conservation, building technology and systems, sustainable building and more. Many of these resources are available to use online. View Building Science library resources.

Building Research Information Knowledgebase (BRIK)

A collaborative effort of the American Institute of Architects and the National Institute of Building Sciences, the Building Research Information Knowledgebase (BRIK) is an interactive portal offering online access to peer-reviewed research projects and case studies in all facets of building, from predesign, design, and construction through occupancy and reuse.

International Building Performance Simulation Conference

The papers from the International Building Performance Simulation (IBPSA 2013) conference are available online. This is a very good and active conference/group with very high quality papers.
