Building Science Graduate Program
The Building Science Graduate Program is located within the School of Construction and the Environment at the BCIT Burnaby campus. The program accepted its first students in September, 2011. This cohort of ten Master of Engineering students and five Master of Applied Science students reflects the forward thinking of academics and administrators from BCIT who worked tirelessly to establish the program.
A critical need had been identified in the building science industry to train professionals equipped to work in this burgeoning and important field. BCIT created the Building Science Graduate Program to address this need.
The program is delivered through the Building Science Centre of Excellence (BSCE), located on the BCIT Burnaby campus, where students have the opportunity to engage in innovative research.
