On this International Women’s Day, BCIT Foundation is excited to announce Wesgroup Equipment has recently made a $50,000 donation in support of BCIT students and programs, spurring even more support for women in trades.
Their generous gift (which will go toward bursaries and scholarships for students in programs including Heavy Mechanical Trades Foundation, and Professional Sales – Marketing) has resulted in a matching donation from the BCIT Women in Trades and Technology (WITT). Because of Wesgroup’s contribution, WITT has allocated a further $2,000 bursary to a female student, with first preference to a student in the Heavy Mechanical Trades Foundation program.
