Inspiring the future: BCIT raises more than $100M to transform applied learning

Thanks to the visionary leadership of BCIT President Kathy Kinloch and INSPIRE Campaign Chair and Concert Properties Co-founder and Chair David Podmore, OBC, the largest campaign in the history of BCIT has now raised more than $100 million. The funds, which are part of a six-year $680-million infrastructure investment, will support campus redevelopment at the Burnaby campus, teaching and learning innovation including state-of-the-art equipment, and access and inclusion initiatives such as student bursaries and scholarships.

“Through INSPIRE, BCIT Foundation is helping today’s students become the innovative leaders the world needs,” says Jackie Jacob, Executive Director, BCIT Foundation. “We are incredibly grateful for the continued, strong philanthropic support from our industry partners, donors, BCIT alumni, faculty and staff who recognize the integral role that our graduates and BCIT play in the economic prosperity of British Columbia and the wellbeing of our communities. On behalf of BCIT Foundation, I want to thank BCIT President Kathy Kinloch, Campaign Chair David Podmore, and our tireless INSPIRE Campaign Cabinet and Patrons whose leadership made this historic achievement possible.”
