Parker Graye has always loved music and the arts. She spent many of her elementary school years singing in talent shows and local contests. Come high school, she started getting into musical theatre and songwriting. PG grew up in a small town called Orillia in Ontario. Once high school was coming to an end, she made the decision to move across the country to Vancouver, BC to start working on her music career. She’s now been writing with producers, artists, and writers and has co-written 20+ songs from all over Canada, through to the US, including Nashville, Los Angeles, and St. Louis. With this, she has really been making a name for herself across the nation.

Along with dabbling on the keyboard, Parker Graye has been taking vocal lessons in Vancouver for almost 9 years. Her voice is absolutely beautiful and has similar sounds to Maren Morris, Ellie Goulding, and Maddie & Tae. One of Parker’s top goals is to simply create music. She loves writing songs, telling stories, and putting emotion into her lyrics. She hopes people will feel something when they listen to her music. PG is looking forward to being able to release more great music, securing a publishing and label deal, and of course, getting back to performing live!

Parker Graye’s debut single released today, September 15, 2020, and it is worth a listen, or more like 50. This song was written by herself, John Strandell, Logan Miller, and Rhyan Shirley. “Do Over” was written after the breakdown of a love she had with a Saskatchewan boy. The song discusses how all she wishes was that it didn’t end, and they could have a do-over. The voice, the instruments, the lyrics, everything about this song is touching.
