Isla Noir making a name in Vancouver

From Australian roots, around the world to right here in Vancouver. Isla Noir is shaping her own destiny.

Preforming from a young age Isla was raised on the stage. Being Classically trained on the piano from a young age made her no stranger to the pressure and adrenaline of the stage like.

Teaching herself guitar and drums Isla began to find her own sound to tell her stories. Describing her music as “Dark pop” she effortlessly mixes her profound acoustic ballads and hybrid creation of electronic pop to move your soul.

Isla Noir is an artist in all sense of the word who does not shy away from challenge and opportunity. Not only does she share her talent to the world on the stage she is also scored the horror film “Screaming At Start” which played at the Chicago international film festival. Along with scoring movies her single “Hawkmen” from her debut EP appears in the Netflix show “She’s Gotta Have It”. Isla Noir is truly a dynamic soul.

Eager to share her new stories Isla released a series of singles. that set the tone for her new upcoming album this summer. Her singles are purely cinematic and haunting. Sharing her stories of pain, love and adventure she new music certainly builds anticipation for her new album.

Her first single “Breath under” released at the beginning of the pandemic is a sirens call to jump into the unknown. An amazing display of talent and glimpse of what is to come next.

Following suit Isla released her second single “Your Love” in June 2020 and her most recent “Drive All Night” a COVID collaboration created through the internet with the artist Josh Simons.

This Multifaceted musician is going to make even bigger impactful waves in the Vancouver music scene. Isla Noir is an artist who creates music that flows with you like the ocean.

Evereal

Evereal back and ready to symphonically rock!

This Vancouver based Symphonic metal band is made up four members with original members Stephen Roberts as lead Guitarist and Gord Esau on bass. joining them is Nelson Bennett on drums and their newest member Alicja Moniatowicz on Vocals.

The band Evereal was first started in 2011 By Stephen Roberts and released their debut self titled album “Evereal” back in 2016. With their hypnotizing Symphonic sound they received an abundance of rave reviews and featured on Amazons top ten metal chart. Since then the band has had a change in roster after former members went on to peruse other opportunities. With new talent comes new passion and in 2019 with their new members Evereal began working on their next project.

in 2019 with their new members ready and eager to preform Evereal started working on their now released four tracked EP  titled “Falling Down” featuring their single “I Bleed“.

Blending synths, orchestra and rock’n’rock create their surreal sound. A sound which is beautifully accompanied with Alicja hauntingly sultry vocals. With all these components combined on Evereal new EP they are sure to send a chill down your spine and revitalize the angst in your soul.

Recently showcasing their new single “When Your Gone” live at CIVL Radio, Evereal truly displays their passion and skill in a breath taking performance.

As Evereal is met with support from fans over their new EP, their single “I Bleed” reaching #11 on the New releases chart and debuting in Amazons top ten rising artist. Evereal already back in the studio recording new music to bring to their fans and show behind the scene looks at a future music videos.

Pleasant Trees

This is Folk soul and Rock’n’Roll, meet the Surrey based band Pleasant Trees.

This merry band or adventurist musicians is comprised of five members. James Acton the lead singer and guitarist along side with Co-lead Beccah Kult who also plays the flute. On Bass and Back up vocals there’s Daniel Giesbrecht, Elliot Moye on drums and Nathan Browns on keys and back up vocals.

Meet WUJI a tangled web of holy sound

WUJI not just your average rock band from Vancouver, because lets make it Psychedelic.

WUJI is a 4 member band comprised of Andrew Kashak, Brian Maudsley, Tyler Dallas and Ryan MacCoul. Forming in 2019 They have just released their first EP together back this past December in 2020.

Before WUJI was formed front man Andrew was a solo Acoustic artist. Finding his sound through inspiration from bands like Nirvana, Pink Floyd and Tame Impala. He went on to share his life experiences through his writing adding dashes of concepts from eastern Philosophies. Writing songs that would soon come to life with the help of his friends and now fellow bandmates!

With their mixed talents of grooving bass, hard hitting percussions, and goosebump-inducing vocal harmonies, WUJI creates a psychedelic grunge rock experience, with their gritty nature of grunge and free spirited form WUJI takes you on a journey.

ReeVay

ReeVay the Vancouver based one man band, who is also know as Marc Rivest. From Pop/Rock to Jazz to Folk/Celtic he can play it all and all by himself. Originally from Toronto, then to Calgary where he paved his way through busking. Reevay traveled to Vancouver to hone his talents after the release of album “Breathe” in 2014.

ReeVay’s Album “Breathe” was all funded through his musical talent and ambition as he busked daily through preforming as a Calgary Transit’s Musician.

Breathe” is a wonderful collection of songs that tell stories of finding yourself, acceptance, moving on and letting go. With every song you can truly connect emotionally with a piece of yourself.

Thank You Driver

Thank You Driver,  a scream-rock band from Langley, British Columbia is comprised of 4 members. Damon Donaldson as their vocalist and screaming, Ethan Moen their drummer, Jeremy Moen their guitarist, and Hayden Peeling is the bassist and clean vocals.

Thank You Driver creates their own unique sound taking inspiration from metal to punk and straying away from the traditional formula. They are a must listen to band for any self proclaimed metal head, connoisseur of hard rock genre, or sad boys just trying to vibe.

Ashley Pater a rising star

Ashley Pater is a young talented woman making big waves in the Vancouver music scene. She is a R&B singer, song writer, model, and all while directing her very own music video for her single “Stuck on you“.
