Metro Van COVID Exposures

Covid exposures at an all-time high in many parts of metro Vancouver.

From Whistler bars to Grocery stores and McDonalds, the exposure rate to Covid has been going up this winter. With people in Vancouver still dining out, it’s important to still stick to Dr henrys rules on containing the virus, staying home, ordering in, and not seeing fiends are what we all need to do.

Whistler Exposure

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is warning patrons who visited The Longhorn Saloon (4280 Mountain Square) in Whistler earlier this month that they could be at risk for potential COVID-19 exposure.

The possible exposures occurred from January 16 to January 25 during operating hours.

This is the third Whistler bar and restaurant that has been reported as a risk for potential COVID-19 exposure.

T&T Supermarket

Earlier this week the grocery store chain posted that a staff member working at its 458 SW Marine Drive location in Vancouver had tested positive for the virus. This employee last worked on January 17.

Another employee who works at this store has tested positive, and their last day of work was on January 21.

Burnaby McDonalds

The fast-food chain posted the following cases, which are the most recent to be shared in the region:

  • McDonald’s, 7229 Kingsway Ave, Burnaby – Positive COVID-19 test of two employees. The employees last worked on January 20 and January 23, 2021.
