After the most defensive game we have seen and of course a rematch since last years Superbowl this game was still an amazing game to watch but it did come with some sad news.

Super bowl champion Sam Darnold was injured during week 1 of the Seattle Seahawks vs New England Patriot’s game very early. Sam Darnold was taken off the field and never came back to play for the rest of week 1 but the Seattle Seahawks did win week 1 game 13 to 10 against the Patriots but we didn’t see Sam Darnold play the full game.

And the Sam Darnold injury has came in and said that he is dealing with a very unique injury which it was a soft tissue injury to his glute and his hip joint is unaffected. Seattle Seahawks just announce his injury just today on September 14th at 6:36pm.

But the good news that was delivered from the team is that Sam Darnolds injury is that it isn’t considered a long term injury but the only bad news about this is that there is no timeline on when he can return back on the field and play during this regular season for week 2 which isn’t really the best news to hear.

There was news that when the Seahawks came back and returned to practice on Monday that Sam Darnold was not seen on the field practicing with the Seattle Seahawks team during the portion that was seen by the media that was there from ESPN.

And on that Same day on Monday of September 14th that head coach Mike Macdonald said during a radio interview that the same day that the team received really good news on Darnold is that they later added that he hoped that they would have a “really accurate picture of a plan of attack” by Monday.

But good news is that on September 16th Wednesday the head coach Mike MacDonald has been scheduled to speak with the reporters later that day and to hopefully get more intel on Sam Darnolds injury report so that people can see if there star quarterback is recovering really well.

And for what we know for who will be starting for this coming up week 2 regular season game is that the veteran Drew lock will be in the line of starting this weeks game against the Arizona Cardinals if Sam Darnold is still unstable to play for week 2 of this years regular season game.
