Hydra Estiatorio Mediterranean & Wine Bar is a restaurant that serves Greek inspired cuisine. The restaurant was named after a Greek island in the Aegean Sea. Hydra is located at 475 Howe Street, in the EXchange Tower atrium. It’s a spot in Vancouver that has the freshest seafood selections from the sea and local sustainable farms. Their ingredients are combined with a special selection of spices and flavours and cooked with skill. All of these things make the right recipe for a fantastic tasting meal. They have a glass enclosed space that creates a unique atmosphere. Whether you’re with friends, collogues or family, the restaurant has an intimate setting that allows you to have a meaningful conversation with the people you’re with. They’ve got a spacious layout, that can host events like birthdays parties or after work events.

Hydra’s has a lively 40-foot cocktail bar with interesting décor on the wall behind the bar. There’s a display of wine bottles that are beautifully placed on the wall and the seating around the bar is definitely a place where you can see yourself sitting by the table and drinking a crafty designed cocktail during happy hour. Which happens to be from 3:00 PM to 6:00PM. Three hours can go by really quick when you’re having a good time and if the dishes and drinks on their menu are any indication, you’re not going to believe how fast three hours can go by.

Although they are known for their fresh seafood, they have an award-winning wine program that features wines from Greece and all over the world.
