The Top Rolling Stones Songs Before The Come To Vancouver

Are you excited for the Rolling Stones to come to Vancouver next year? It’s going to be a great concert, although maybe a bit of a pricey one. But today I thought it would be a fun idea to talk about which of the bigger Rolling Stones songs are the best because they have quite a few. The Stones have been a really well-known band for a while and even if you don’t listen to them, there’s a good chance you know their bigger songs. So let’s talk about which ones I think are great.

The first one I want to talk about is Start Me Up. This song just has you feeling like a badass when you listen to it even though that’s not the message the lyrics are trying to convey. This song has some interesting lyrics and some enjoyable instrumentals along with the vocals. If you’re looking for a more up-tempo Stones song then this is a good song to listen to.

It would be hard to talk about the Rolling Stones and not talk about Paint It Black. This song explores the dark side of the Rolling Stones. It has a bit of a gloomy vibe to it although the tempo of this song is a lot more upbeat. This song is one of the Rolling Stone’s most popular songs and there is a good reason for that. Everything about this song sounds fantastic and the lyrics are very interesting too as Mick Jagger talks about the dark thoughts in his mind and how it consumes him. This song is a classic in the rock scene and it will continue to be for many years to come.

The last song I wanted to talk about is Gimme Shelter. This is easily my favourite Rolling Stones song for a few reasons. The progression of this song is really good as it feels like it keeps building and building. But the thing that makes this song spectacular is Merry Clayton. Clayton’s singing in this song is phenomenal and the part towards the end where she says lyrics with sensitive words that I won’t mention since they may be sensitive to some people, but when her voice cracks during one of those lines…it is insane. Not many songs can give me chills, but this is one of them and that has in large part to do with how good Merry Clayton did on this song.

The Stones have tons of good songs and hopefully, their show in Vancouver will feature a lot of them. If you do go to this concert, I hope you don’t have to break the band to do so.
