One of the desserts you can cook during the holiday season

It is the holiday season for everyone. Also is the family gathering. And sometimes, you must cook exceptional food for your family during the holiday season. Each person in your family has one excellent food they enjoy, and they share the outstanding food for everyone in the family member to try and eat. At this time, I will show you the food that is good to cook during this particular season; at the same time, I will show you each food how you cook it at home, so you can try to cook this food at home and share to you family and you special one. Each dish I show you should be easy for you to cook at home, and it would taste the same things you taste in some of the restaurants you like.

Christmas food

The first one is that the food is good in the holiday season and also suitable for sharing. The name of the food is called “Bûche de Noël” A Yule log or bûche de Noël is a traditional Christmas cake, often served as a dessert near Christmas, especially in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Vietnam, and Quebec, Canada. Variants are also served in the United States, United Kingdom, Cambodia, Scandinavia, Portugal, and Spain. This is the dessert for the cross to the Europeans—a little history of this food. The cake emerged in the 19th century, probably in France, before spreading to other countries. It is traditionally made from a genoise, generally baked in a large, shallow Swiss roll pan, iced, rolled to form a cylinder, and iced again on the outside. The most common combination is a basic yellow sponge cake and chocolate buttercream, though many variations include chocolate cake, ganache, and icings flavoured with espresso or liqueurs. And this food shape looks like the cake roll you try other cakes in some of the dessert stores or you buy in the supermarket. For the ingredients, it has 2 cups heavy cream;  ½ cup confectioners’ sugar;  ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder; 1 teaspoon vanilla extract; 6 egg yolks; ½ cup white sugar; ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder; 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract; ⅛ teaspoon salt; 6 egg whites; ¼ cup white sugar and confectioners’ sugar for dusting, those are the ingredients you use for cooking “Bûche de Noël” for you family and share with you family member. Now, I will show you how to cook this dish. So, Step: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a 10×15-inch jellyroll pan with parchment paper. In a large bowl, whip cream, 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar, 1/2 cup cocoa, and one teaspoon vanilla until thick and stiff. Refrigerate. Step 2: In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat egg yolks with 1/2 cup sugar until pale, light, and frothy in colour. Blend in 1/3 cup cocoa, 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla, and salt—step 3: Whip egg whites to soft peaks using clean beaters in a large glass bowl. Gradually add 1/4 cup sugar, and beat until whites form stiff peaks. Step 4: Immediately fold the yolk mixture into the whites. Step 5: Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Step 6: Bake in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until the cake springs back when lightly touched. Step 7: Dust a clean dishtowel with confectioners’ sugar. Run a knife around the edge of the pan, and turn the warm cake out onto the towel. Remove and discard parchment paper. Step 8:Starting at the short edge of the cake, roll the cake up with the towel. Cool for 30 minutes. Step 9: Unroll the cake and spread the filling within 1 inch of the edge. Last step: Roll the cake up with the filling inside. Place seam side down onto a serving plate and refrigerate until serving. This is how to cook. “Bûche de Noël”

I haven’t tried this food before, but after hearing about this dish from my friends, it looks so good, and it is straightforward to make this dish with your friends and family members during this holiday season. Also, if you drink the tea with this cake, it will be the best dish you try to eat, and it will taste the same when you buy it in the stores or try it in the restaurant. But, at the same time, it is best to enjoy this dish at home by watching a movie or listening to the music you like.
