The night begins to shine… in the canyons of the Capilano River.

On November 17, the Canyon Lights at the Capilano Suspension Bridge will begin once more. As someone who is attended an early event last year for it it, Canyon Lights is one of the most beautiful events in the entire city during the holiday season. The moment you get past the ticket gate, you are greeted with light strung upon the trees, all so bright and colourful. You turn to your left and see more lights as well. And just in the park string about, even on the canyons around the area. And of course, the bridge itself is decorated with these lights, and they even change colour too! 

From the main bridge itself to the Cliffwalk and the Treetop Adventures, the lights will certainly take you to another world. A bright, colourful, and ethereal world filled with life.

But it’s not just the lights, but the entertainment and food choices as well. Live entertainment is strongly represented by local artists and local dancers, who put their unique talents on display by the gift shop. 

I recommend going to this event because it is one of the most uniquely beautiful events around the city. Even though it was raining when I went, it was still beautiful. The lights still shone, and my eyes were absolutely glowing. Pun intended.

Canyon Lights begin on November 17 at the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and will go until the end of the holiday season. I hope to see you there!
