Some people have the experience when they first go to different countries, for study, business or staying in that countries. This is a new thing for everyone who wants to stay. I went to other countries to try some new experiences than before. At this time, I want to share my experience when I first came to Canada to study and what I did some active.

At first, I stayed in China until Grade Night for school. At that time, when my parents asked me some questions about going to other countries to study, I was shocked because I am never going outside to look for that long, but before when I learned Dramer in England, but after then that I didn’t go to other counties that far by myself and stay very long by myself. At that time, I still thought I should change the study environment. I could have a chance to choose the class I liked, or I needed to follow the schedule. Still, one of my classmates told me if I went to another country to study, this was a good thing for me because I didn’t need to do too much homework. You don’t need to stay up very late, and you don’t need to worry about some people who will laugh at you if you get a lower mark in the class, and you don’t need to hear the teacher say to your grade in front of the course, it can make you feel embracing and disappoint for yourself. I want to explain to you what school looks like in China. When I study in China, my mark for some of the classes is not very good, and sometimes I fail exams or quizzes because some of the course is difficult for me. Even though I ask the teacher to study in that class, it is still too hard for me. Every day, our homework is a lot for each type I take every day, and each piece of homework is due the next morning before the first class begins. At that time, we had one person who collected each type of homework, and after we collected it, we gave it to the teacher and told the teacher who was not having it. During the school schedule, we start the class at eight o’clock in the morning. Still, the ending is sometime at six pm or even very late, so sometimes when we go home, it is very late, and we need to do the homework too, so we sleep very late, in the next day, we need to wake up so early. Back why my parents decided for me to go to other countries to study because they thought in other countries to look is better for me to learn in other classes I didn’t know, and also it would be easy for me to follow up in the course.

When I came to Canada, I was terrified because I didn’t have good English speaking skills and was so nervous. When I was in school in China, I only practiced English by following the school textbook, but we didn’t have actual practice in life. So, when I arrived in Canada, I had no idea what would happen next. After I came to Calgary, I saw someone pick me up at the airport, and I didn’t know who the person was. After I got to her car, I saw one more person sitting beside one of the lady’s cars, and they started to induce themselves; the lady said her name was Joyce, and she was the homestay mother sitting beside the girls; she was Laura, she is the exchange student from German, and she is same as I am high school students and she is exchange student, stay for 1and two years in Canada, and they are going back to Germany to continue to study.

The next day, I woke up late because the jet lag, so I missed the breakfast hour and went straight to the lunch hour. At that time, my homestay mother was trying to induce the family, but at that time not too many people at home, only me, my homestay mother and my roommate, just only three people at home, so I didn’t have a chance to see the all family person. Still, my homestay mother plans to take me to see the places to visit and talk me to the shopping mall to buy something I need for myself. After I saw my homestay father and her son, they only said hello and left the house to go somewhere. I was so shy then because I was so scared they would laugh at me. The next day, we went to the lake lousie and Banff with my homestay mother, homestay father and my roommate, and we had so much fun. We also took a lot of pictures, and they took me to the good restaurants to try the food, and also we went to buy some little gifts in the gift shop, but at the same time, we were going there only a day, and we go back at the same day.

After we went back home, we were so tired, but the next day, I needed to go to school, so my roommate and I were getting ready for tomorrow for the first-day school first day. I was so nervous about it because is my first day in a different country school. They had too many people from anywhere, such as foreign cities, countries, and other towns in Canada. Still, in the class, we only speak English the all-time, so I don’tdon’t have good skills speaking in English because my English speaking and writing skills are not good, so I don’t know what will happen next. After that, we have a test for the language for international students, which is a little bit different than what I see learned before in the school in China. After the test finished, I was still worried about how I did, but after the next day, the school said I did great on the test for all things, and this test was not for the mark. Let them see my language skill for me, and I think about the questions I answered in that test. At that time, I felt good about that, and I felt better not to worry too much about the difficulty I wrote on the first day. When I go home, my homestay mother asks me if the test I did in school today is good. I say she is good, and the questions are a little bit difficult for me to understand, and some of the questions are easy to answer for me, but all thing is the diff. Even I was used to reading and didn’t know I didn’t. But after everything, the ending will be different for me.

The next day is school time for me and is my first day staying in a different country schcountry’sI will try my best to do good in school and pass all the classes I am taking. But when I went to the classroom, I was so stressed because some of the teachers said I don’t understand what the teacher was talking about. After the class, I asked my roommate to help me with some homework so I could follow up on my course.
The next day, one person spoke to me to borrow something. And I didn’t know him, and I just gave him whatever he asked me. And he asked me to get the calculators. And I was just shocked because he didn’t know me about the calculators. So, after we had the international students meeting in the room, he asked me about where I come from and where I live in Calgary and asked me for my phone number so that in the future, we can go out and talk on the phone sometimes. That would be great. At the same time, I am so happy because I make friends.
