Vancouver has tons to do during the weekends. Whether that be going to the PNE, going shopping or seeing a show of any kind. Especially when it comes to concerts and music festivals. So many great performers come here and give their audience a memorable experience that they will treasure for the rest of their lives. 

However, there are also some interesting festivals you can go to. For example, would you be interested in going to a Shrek rave? Because you can! On May 26th there will be a Shrek rave at the Harbour Event & Convention Centre and you can bet your bottom dollar that I got my tickets to go.

So here is my question to you; would you be interested in going to a music festival/event that is a bit more unusual? I personally feel that going to stuff that’s a little out of the ordinary is so much fun. I mean how often do you have fun doing the same old thing all the time? You get sick of it after a while, don’t you? So why not try something a little bit odd? 

I’m honestly not sure what to expect at this rave but I always feel like going to something unique makes things way more fun. It breaks up the standard of just going to a concert or music festival and just listening to music you’ve always heard. It’s sometimes fun to just have some laughs while you go to a show and just enjoy how weird it is and then in turn you feel more comfortable being a bit weird and acting like yourself. And that’s what makes things like a Shrek rave so fun. It allows you to be yourself and not care about what other people think about you. 

So if you ask me, you should definitely go to something like a Shrek rave because it will allow you to be yourself and have a little fun as well. Going to things that are a little more odd are the ones that can be the most fun so go out and try something a little weird.
