Buckman Coe

This will be the second consecutive week that Osita will be hosting jazz/folk/soothing music and its a opportunity you can’t take for granted. Buckman Coe has been nothing short of successful when it comes to his repertoire. With 5 albums released, Buckman Coe has prided himself on creating feel good music that enhances the mind and body. His most recent album, Gathering Storm, provides a crazy amount of versatility and a pleasant mix of techno, jazz, and soothing singing and lyricism. It creates a mood where its easy to sit back and simply enjoy life. For some reason I picture myself having a cup of coffee or a nice piña colada on a nice white sandy beach while listening to this album. Its fantastic.

2015 release, Malama Ka ‘Aina [Ma-LA-ma  kah-AY-nuh] is the single and album that stands out the most in his discography. The title of the song is a Hawaiian phrase that means “to respect the land and live in harmony.” The deep passion Buckman prides himself on makes him so much more intriguing because when listening to his stuff you know understand his spiritual nature and passion for social justice.

Buckman Coe is more than just a night out to a concert, it would be an experience that can heal any problems you are dealing and can simply be an escape from reality.
