Canucks Booed On Home Ice

The Vancouver Canucks suffered a 5-1 loss from the Buffalo Sabres Saturday night at Rogers Arena. The home fans seemed unimpressed by the Canucks effort and started to boo the team in the middle of the third period.  The Canucks had a good second period so the lack of effort came as a shock even to their head coach!

“I don’t get how a team that hasn’t won a game — and you have a really good second period — isn’t excited about coming out in third and doing the same thing as you did in the second.” said head coach Bruce Boudreau.

The third period started with a  potential goal from Vinnie Hinostroza called off giving the Canucks a sliver of hope, only to be scored on again just 30 seconds later. This is around when fans started to boo the team and some fans even threw their jerseys on the ice.

A truly embarrassing night and season to be a Canucks fan as the the Canucks are the only team in the NHL to not win a single game yet this season.
