Brewhalla Beer and Music Festival, the last “summer” event of the year

For many people summer is their favourite time of year. It reminds you of being a kid, having time away from school and doing whatever you want whenever you want. The days are long, the rain is gone, and the fun seems to never end. Then, boom! It’s October.

Outdoor pools are closing, the local baseball season has finished, and the sun is setting faster and faster everyday. These are usually signs that summer is over but with the weather we’ve been experiencing this October it feels like we are still in the heart of it. Well, The Brewhalla Beer and Music Festival is here to say summer isn’t over yet.

This Friday, October 7th you can enjoy one last summer hurrah at the Shipyards in North Vancouver. Presented by The Quay Market & Food Hall, The Brewhalla Beer Festival is likely the last summer event of the year, even if it is in October. The sun will be shining, the drinks will be cold, and the music will be top notch.

Say goodbye to summer in style. There will five live bands, two DJs, over 20 alcohol venders, four food trucks, lawn games, beer pong, giveaways, and plenty of contests.

So if you’re not ready to commit to fall yet, head on out to North Van and spend one last night celebrating your favourite season of the year. Bring your friends, share a few laughs, and enjoy one of the most beautiful areas in all the lower mainland.

Next thing you know you will be holiday shopping and waiting for the snow to melt. Don’t miss out on what could be your last chance to soak up the sun at an outdoor festival this year.
