Food Price Rises Seem to be Higher than Official Statistics Suggest

Recent research by Dalhousie University suggests that Canadian food price rises is close to double what statistics Canada suggests, heres what one Vancouverite had to say about her recent grocery bills

 

“Right now we have to spend more on groceries and so we have less for other things, like other things, most of the things, the inflation affects everything but food is one of the things that maybe affects the familyā€¯

 

The study shows that the recent inflation is a response to COVID-19 and climate change.
