The City of Coquitlam Will Be Expanding The Crunch Trail Starting In The Spring of 2021

The city of Coquitlam is expanding the Crunch Trail to the south, as well as providing more additional solutions for outdoor recreation center’s for residents, in order to explore more options.

Here is city park planning and design manager Andre Isakov, as he goes into explaining what the benefits of this particular project will bring to the city of Coquitlam.

Andre explains the benefits:

“On the route we are going to be looking at offering new supporting trail amenities such as additional parking lots, access routes, and as well as washrooms, and other amenities like that as well, to make the experience, you know the user experience more comfortable as well.”

Andre the goes into more details, as to why there doing this:

Andre explains why:

“Well for us, the crunch trail is a really important community amenity, we have really seen the community embrace the Crunch trail, and it’s use over the last ten years, but more specifically this year, we have really seen a more higher volume of users.”

Now, the city of Coquitlam is looking to get this project started by the end of next spring of 2021, and they are looking to have completed successfully as well.
