The British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) is pleased to welcome Dr. Jeff Zabudsky as the new President of BCIT.
Dr. Zabudsky joins BCIT at a time of exceptional growth as the Institute prepares to enter its 60th year of delivering applied, industry-focused education. As the only BC post-secondary Institute with a provincial mandate for strategic workforce development, BCIT plays a crucial role in connecting education, industry, and government to meet the evolving needs of the labour market. With over 30 years of experience within the post-secondary and polytechnic landscapes – both in Canada and internationally – Dr. Zabudsky is the ideal leader to propel BCIT into its next chapter.
Together with Dr. Zabudsky, the BCIT Board of Governors looks forward to further developing applied education opportunities for all learners. By reducing barriers and improving pathways to BCIT, the Institute will continue to deliver on its vision of empowering people, shaping BC, and inspiring global progress.
