BCIT has made the difficult decision to postpone its Electric Vehicle Festival of Learning (EVolution) event until 2023.
The reasons for the postponement are linked to ongoing construction at the Burnaby Campus. Project contractors have informed that due to ongoing supply chain delays, most construction will persist into October.
The impact of this ongoing construction would greatly affect the visitor experience during EVolution. This is not the experience that BCIT wants to provide for EVolution attendees.
For this reason, and after long discussion, BCIT has very reluctantly decided to postpone the event until summer 2023. By then, current construction will be complete and visitors will be able to fully immerse themselves in the leading-edge technology campus.
