- you must be enrolled as a full-time student in post-secondary co-op/internship program that is on our list of validated institutions and programs list of validated institutions and programs
- your work term must be mandatory for graduation
- you must meet the minimum age required in the province/territory of work
Job Description for Administrative Positions:
- Answers telephone and counter inquiries relating to general client services and revenue related questions. Process revenue payments for the travelling public.
- Prepares and processes entries for casual and commercial importers.
- Completes a series of mandatory cash controls (verifying cash floats at the beginning and end of shift and end of accounting period) and maintains the security of revenue under established cash control procedures.
- Completes cash reconciliation procedures including balancing revenue to reports and preparing banks deposits and documents.
- Performs and coordinates a variety of other administrative activities including maintaining and ordering of office supplies, filing, photocopying, computer generated reports and general assistance to the Management team.
- Assist Management with scheduling related duties and verifications of hours.
- Review and input accurate records in an automated system and maintain associated files of all District transactions
- Respond to internal and external inquiries and time-sensitive requests from management and administrative staff
- Initiate, coordinate and monitor transactions with supplies and vendors
- Provision of various administrative duties in support of management: data entry, scheduling and booking meetings, managing generic email inboxes, maintaining office equipment.

Academic Level: Post-Secondary
Experience:
- Experience in the use of various software programs such as Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook. Experience gained in an academic setting is acceptable.

Conditions of Employment
- Obtain and maintain a Reliability security clearance.

- Travel locally as required.
