ADMN O 24R – Intelligence Analyst – BC Conservation Officer Service

November 27, 2023 by Edwin Yong

“The BC Conservation Officer Service (BCCOS) is a public safety provider focused on natural resource law enforcement and human wildlife conflicts prevention and response. Every day, the BCCOS is building on its vision to be a progressive and respected leader in environmental compliance, shared stewardship and public safety.

The Intelligence Analyst is responsible for collecting and analyzing intelligence data collected from Ministry staff, other provincial enforcement agencies, informants, sources and external clients. This position also identifies emerging non-compliance trends and issues and makes recommendations to support and improve enforcement activities of Conservation Officer Service operations. This position provides the COS with long term “strategic” intelligence products and “tactical” intelligence products to disrupt environmental crime across BC. This position falls within the General Investigations Section of the COS and will work directly with partner agencies, police agencies, and intelligence units across North America.

The right candidate is a skilled analytical thinker, an effective communicator, has excellent time management techniques and investigative skills. If you thrive in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities and want to work with a progressive team, we encourage you to apply.”
