Do you know Micheal David? Well, he’s a musician who is also known as Passenger. He’s a British folk rock singer and songwriter, well known for his song “Let Her Go”. Honestly, whenever I listen or even read that song title it always reminds me of Disney’s Frozen, I wonder why. Passenger will be headlining the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver BC and will be performing a plethora of iconic hits from his great catalog. To provide some background to our boy Micheal, he played music through England and Australia after leaving school due to his incredible passion for music, which I love for him. Following your passions and doing what you love is what makes this whole life thing enjoyable. This was a great idea for him since his song “Let Her Go” gained an insane amount of success, hitting number one in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland & Germany. Passenger also got nominated in the 2014 Brit Awards for Best British Single. Overall, Passenger has had an incredible and humble career where he continues to spread his love and passion doing these live concerts.

A Musical Journey from JPNSGRLS to Perfectionism

Alternative Rock is a musical genre that originated in the Western music scene in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Its musical style usually combines elements of rock, punk, pop, and electronica, as well as innovations and breakthroughs in traditional rock, presenting a different sound and style from traditional rock.

Hotel Mira is an alternative rock band from Canada, previously active as JPNSGRLS. Their music style is a fusion of many elements, including rock, punk, pop and experimental music elements, presenting a unique and energetic music style.

Formed in 2010, JPNSGRLS consists of Charlie Kerr on vocals, Mike Noble on bass, Clark Grieve on guitar and keyboards, and Cole George on drums. Since its inception, this band has won over many fans with its unique musical style and energetic live performances.

Challenges are hard to avoid on a musical journey. It was in 2016 that band member Oliver Mann announced his departure, which was a huge blow to JPNSGRLS and meant they had to face the challenge of starting over. However, instead of being trapped in their loss, they chose to rise to that challenge and welcomed new member Colton Lauro into the fold. This transition not only meant a change in personnel, but also a test of team cohesion and creativity. Undaunted, they continue to move forward, exploring the boundaries of music and fighting for their musical dreams.

In 2018, the band not only announced a name change to Hotel Mira, but also released their debut EP and first full-length album, “Perfectionism,” in order to better showcase the new face of their music. This transition marks a new era for the band, filled with more mature and profound musical endeavors.

Hotel Mira’s music is filled with authentic expressions of life and emotions, making it seem as if one is in a world of emotions. Their songs “3AM Lullaby” and “Perfectionism” are fan favorites and have become a hit in the music industry.

Hotel Mira is more than just a band, it’s a passionate and moving musical journey. Whether it’s from JPNSGRLS to Hotel Mira, or from their debut EP to their debut album, the release of “Perfectionism” will be a valuable asset in music history.

You can look forward to more exciting musical works from them in the future, bringing us more shocking and touching music! They won’t let you down.
