Bengals VS Chiefs Rematch For AFC Championship

The Bengals and Chiefs are set to face off in the AFC championship game.

After dominating the Bills today, the Bengals secured a spot in the AFC championship game against the Chiefs. This will be a rematch of last years AFC championship game to see who goes to the Super Bowl.

Last year when these two teams faced off for a spot in the Super Bowl, it was the Bengals who came out on top in O.T 27-24. Cincinnati has also won the last three times these teams have met!

So whose going to win this one? I’m betting on the Bengals.

The Joe Burrow train is a hard one to stop, and it seems like he’s just getting started. Burrow threw two touchdown passes today against the Bills and stayed cool under the pressure.

Knowing that the Bengals have beaten them three times in a row, the Chiefs will have to switch up the strategy, but it’ll be hard for the Chiefs to come up with a game plan in the short amount of time they have to beat the Bengals.

This is the first time in franchise history that the Bengals have gone to back to back AFC finals, and if they win it will be the first time in franchise history that the Bengals go to back to back Super Bowls.

The Bengals face the Chiefs next Sunday at 3:30, don’t miss it!

Many fans are suggesting boycotting the organization and not attending games or buying merchandise until Canucks ownership decides to sell to better owners.

This team is in big trouble on the ice, and off the ice with no apparent end in sight. Will the Canucks owners end up selling the team?

Break Point Could Put Tennis On The Map!

Netflix has released a new documentary series called Break Point.

Break Point is about the worlds top tennis players going through highs and lows, and ultimately fighting to be at the top of the sport.

Break Point is from the same producers as the hit documentary series Drive To Survive, that helped put Formula One on the global stage these past few years.

This documentary follows a similar approach and I’m sure has similar aspirations to what happened to Formula One.

Tennis usually falls under the radar when it comes to mainstream sports just like Formula One did for many years. Break Point could finally be Tennis’s chance to be one of the mainstream recognized sports.

Will Teamwork Be The Downfall Of Gordon Ryan?

Gordon Ryan has been at the top of the sport of Jiu jitsu for years now.

For a long time he’s seemed unbeatable. Gordon hasn’t lost a match in over five years! Many have tried and many have failed to beat the king.

The only chance the Jiu jitsu community has left to dethrone Gordon? Teamwork.

Gordon Ryan has had three big foes in his Jiu jitsu career.

Felipe Pena is Gordon’s first rival. The two have fought three times before with the fourth match coming up soon!

Craig Jones is Gordon’s second rival. Craig and Gordon had a match that Craig nearly won by snapping Gordon’s arm. Gordon came out with the win and the two became teammates before they had a big fallout.

Andre Galvao is Gordon’s third rival. Andre was the reigning ADCC super fight champion and hadn’t been beaten in years. Gordon disrespected Andre in the lead up to their match, even slapping him. Gordon inevitably beat Andre at the latest ADCC.

It has now come out though that these three rivals of Gordon’s are teaming up to take Gordon down. The team released some photos of them training the past few weeks with the most recent photo coming from Pena’s instagram today.

The trio is most likely training Pena for his final match with Gordon and potentially preparing Craig for a rematch.

I’m routing for this trio to get the job done so that Jiu jitsu can once again have some close competition. Gordon has been at the top for too long and someone eventually has to dethrone the king.

Canucks Announce New Head Coach

Rick Tocchet will be taking the place of Bruce Boudreau as the Vancouver Canucks new head coach.

Rick Tocchet is a veteran of the game and most recently coached the Arizona Coyotes, leading them to the playoffs in 2020 for the first time in eight years.

While Tocchet may be a terrific coach I don’t see him magically turning things around for the Canucks.

That’s what management and higher ups in the Canucks hoped would happen with Bruce And look how that turned out. They gave a losing team to a veteran coach, halfway through a losing season and then when things didn’t work out they fired him for someone else.

This is the same exact situation.

Rick will be getting a losing Canucks team halfway through the season and when he can’t turn it around by this time next year expect the same fate for him as Bruce Boudreau.

What the higher ups in the Canucks organization are thinking is beyond me. And I can’t seem to put together why Tocchet thinks this is a good move for him! I hope he was given a fair sum of money for the one year he’ll be with the team.

The Canucks lost 4-2 against the Oilers last night and will face the Blackhawks on Tuesday.

Brandon Moreno Gets Booed Out Of Arena!

Brandon Moreno was booed out of the stadium last night after winning back his UFC championship.

Moreno was set to fight the champion Deiveson Figueiredo one more time to decide who the best featherweight on the planet is.

Why Brandon Moreno Will Win UFC Gold Tonight!

The bout took place in Deiveson’s home country, Brazil which just added to the build up and tension this bout already had.

The fight was an entertaining one with both fighters having their moments, but Brandon Moreno seemed to get the upper hand in most exchanges, putting him ahead on the judges scorecards for the first three rounds. Then headed into the fourth round a doctor was called into the ring to check out Deiveson’s eye that had fully swelled up.

The doctor made the decision to stop the fight making Moreno the champion and the Brazil fans very frustrated.

As Moreno ran out of the arena fans started to throw food and drinks at him and boo him right out of the building.

Moreno being the good guy he is just laughed it off and enjoyed his moment.

All in all it was a great win for Moreno but the disgraceful crowd put a sad damper on the event. Let’s hope the UFC can somehow stop this from happening in the future.

Why Brandon Moreno Will Win UFC Gold Tonight!

Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno are set to face off for the 4th time tonight. The first of their epic battles ended in a draw, the second fight saw Moreno win the title with a fast submission victory, and in the third fight Deiveson won back his title in a 5 round war.

So who will win this epic 4 fight saga? My bet is on Brandon Moreno.

When Brandon Moreno won the second fight it was in dominant fashion. In the stand up exchanges he looked like the cleaner technical striker, and on the ground he inevitably finished Deiveson. When Deiveson won the belt back in the third fight, it was in no way a dominant win, and some people even claimed Brandon Moreno should have won the fight.

The story of those 3 fights are why I’m predicting Moreno. Deiveson has never dominated Moreno the way Moreno dominated the second fight. Clearly Moreno has figured out what it takes to beat this guy dominantly before, and I’m willing to bet he can figure it out again.

Another reason I believe Moreno will win is Figueiredo’s weight issues. In all three fights he struggled to make the 125 pound weight limit, causing him to be hospitalized the night before the first fight. Moreno seems to make the weight limit each time with no apparent issues, making him faster, and healthier come fight night.

While I may have my reasons I think Brandon Moreno will walk out with the win, I wouldn’t advise anyone to bet on this fight. These men are fighting for four times because of how evenly matched they are, so make no mistake that this one should be a close one.

Cobra Kai Announces Its Final Season

Cobra Kai has announced that it will be releasing its final season soon.

Cobra Kai has taken the internet by storm after teaming with Netflix these past few years. It’s a show about Karate with the original Karate kid characters Johnny Lawrence and Daniel Laruso (played by the same actors they had 40 years ago) all grown up, and still fighting.

However, it focuses on them now becoming coaches themselves and trying to settle their differences for their common goal, helping kids.

This show is brilliant! It has a cheesy sense of humour that works for a show like this, dozens of the old cast making cameos, and some really amazing new characters introduced.

In the final season Johnny and Daniels students will be fighting in the world championship, with the hope of showing that the Valley has the best Karate in the world. It wont be easy though as Johnnys old coach John Kreese has escaped from prison, with a vengeance against Johnny and Daniel.

Fans will be sad to see this show end but it’s one of those scenarios where the writers can’t keep coming up with storylines, so rather then make stretches, they’ve decided to end it on a high note.

It’s a respectable decision, and perfect for the karate kid legacy.

Shannon Sharpe VS Memphis Grizzlies

Things hot heated last night between former NFL star Shannon Sharpe and the Memphis Grizzlies.

Things started to escalate when the Grizzlies picked up the trash talk against the Lakers in the middle of their game. This seems to be a common theme with this Grizzlies team, as they’ve gotten into altercations with most of the league.

Players like Klay Thompson, Steph Curry, and Lebron James have all spoken out before about how much this team trash talks on the court.

Lebron didn’t seem to appreciate it all that much this game either, and decided to start talking his own trash talk against the Grizzlies, defending himself and his team.

The game was tight with both teams going back and forth in points, but the final score was 122-121 for the Los Angeles Lakers.

When the game ended, Shannon Sharpe stormed onto the court and had some choice words for the Grizzlies team and Ja Morant’s dad, Tee Morant.

The team came over to confront Shannon, but security quickly got in the way and separated the two parties.

Lebron came up to Sharpe once things had calmed down and both men shared how they had each other’s back.

It was nice to see the Lakers defeat the loud, obnoxious team that is the Grizzlies. It seems every team in the league dislikes the Grizzlies for a good reason so it’s nice to see the Lakers shut them up a little bit.

Will The Rock Return On Monday Night!?

Rumours have been flying left and right the past week that The Rock will be making his return to Monday Night Raw on January 23rd.

Let’s look at the facts and try to determine if the rock will be coming back.

The WWE has announced that the tribal chief Roman Reigns will be holding a tribal chief ceremony that will include every generation of the bloodline. Roman Reigns and The Rock are obviously both members of the same bloodline so if every generation is going to be there, the rock has to be included.

The WWE just released a new line up of merchandise for The Rock. Usually when the promotion is getting ready for a superstar return or rebrand they’ll release new merchandise just a couple days before the return. That way when the superstar does make their huge return, merchandise is readily available.

This Monday will be RAW’s 30 year anniversary, and the company is going big for it. They’ve already announced plenty of past superstars will be making returns. It just makes sense that the man that helped put RAW on the map is there for the 30th anniversary.

So what do you think? Will The Rock be making his return to Monday Night Raw this Monday? Some fans are speculating that him not returning and not celebrating the tribal chief will lead to a feud with The Rock and Roman Reigns at Wrestle Mania.
