WWE Heads To Vancouver! Ready to Rumble?

Attention wrestling fans in the lower mainland! The time has come, a televised WWE show has finally hit Vancouver! Mark your calendars and get your wallets ready, WWE Smackdown is going to be electric!

Announced today, WWE Smackdown heads to Rodgers Arena January 5th! This marks the first time WWE has come to Vancouver since 2022 and the first time Smackdown has come since 2020.

Expect this show to be dynamite, with WWE pulling out all the stops to entertain the electric Vancouver crowd. Also, there are a few points that makes me believe that this will be a show for Vancouverites to remember.

First, WWE shows have been absolutely fire this year. Ever since Triple H has taken over the creative section of WWE, ratings have been at a high. The storylines, the wrestlers and the matches have been the best they have been for the past 5 years. Definitely this Vancouver show will be no exception.

Secondly, some big names are bound to be on the show. Just on the announcement poster you already see big names like, Women’s champion, Iyo Sky and one of the biggest rising stars LA Knight. This doesn’t guarantee them being on the show and WWE is known to change plans, but this is a good sign that they will show off the stars. Also, there is one more thing pointing to WWE showing the stars in this show.

Lastly, the Road to WrestleMania is on the way. Since the Royal Rumble marks the beginning of the Road to WrestleMania, expect storylines to be cooking up and stars to be showing out. The Royal Rumble is going to be at the end of January, so the story lines might be at the beginning stages, but still expect some big things to happen.

The big wrestling fans will, for sure, head out to this event, but if you are still on the fence you should absolutely give this a shot. Whether you are still new to wrestling, or haven’t really checked in on it for a while, the atmosphere will surely reel you in. The wrestling community in Vancouver is not something to miss out on, so if you have the chance to make it, come on through.

When you decide to get your tickets for this event, you should for sure nab them quickly. Pre-sale starts November 1st and tickets go on sale November 3rd. Hope to see you there and if you are excited leave a “YEAH” in the comments.
