Goth Babe Announced The Lola Tour 2023

Goth Babe will have many concerts this year, especially in the United States, including Vancouver, where he will have 2 shows on July 24 and 25 at Vogue Theater in BC.

Griff Washburn’s stage name is Goth Babe, and he is a musician from Nashville, Tennessee, who has acquired followers for his distinctive combination of surf rock, indie pop, and folk music. His music is recognized for its dreamy and atmospheric soundscapes, introspective lyrics, and Washburn’s silky, laid-back voice.

Washburn began his musical career as a drummer, performing in various bands in his birthplace of Nashville. In 2017, he began experimenting with his own solo songs and released his debut EP, “Wasted Time,” under the alias Goth Babe. The EP included Washburn’s characteristic style of sunny, surf-infused indie pop, and it soon received notice from music bloggers and fans alike.

“Mt. Hood,” a 2020 EP inspired on Washburn’s experiences living in the Pacific Northwest, is one of Goth Babe’s most popular releases. Washburn’s surf rock inspirations are blended with beautiful, atmospheric orchestration and contemplative lyrics on the EP’s five tracks. But the most well-known album to date is “Landslide,” which was published in 2019. The album combines dreamy, beachy indie rock with contemplative acoustic ballads, resulting in a distinct sound characterized as “surf-psych” and “beachwave.” Washburn’s expertise as a sound engineer is greatly inspired by the album’s production, with layers of guitar, synth, and percussion producing a deep and immersive listening experience.

Despite his very brief career, Goth Babe has amassed a devoted fan base and critical acclaim for his distinct style and sensitive lyricism. His music continues to expand and explore, and his next albums are eagerly awaited by his followers.

Washburn is well-known for his amazing visual work, which frequently involves dreamy landscapes, surrealist images, and his music. He crafts all of the artwork for his music releases, and his graphics compliment his music flawlessly, providing his listeners with a comprehensive creative experience.

Goth Babe uses his artist position to educate his followers about the need to safeguard his outdoor playgrounds, one EP, one merch sale, and one tour stop at a time. He not only likes to share his own stories, but he also formed an EP called Protect Our Winters and contributes a part of his merchandise sales and $1 from every ticket sold to POW.  POW’s Creative Alliance is proud to have Goth Babe as a member.
