Promoting the release of her new album called “Drop Cherries,” released in April this year, Billie Marten will tour England and the United States and will give a presentation on June 10 at the Wise Hall located on Adanac St. in Vancouver, BC. Billie Marten is a British singer-songwriter who ascended to notoriety in the music business because of her hauntingly beautiful voice, contemplative lyrics, and distinctive musical style. Isabella Sophie Tweddle, who was born in Ripon, North Yorkshire, in 1999, began composing and singing her own songs at a young age and was discovered by music business executives while she was in her early teens.

Marten released her debut EP, “Ribbon,” when she was 15 in 2014, and her debut album, “Writing of Blues and Yellows,” in 2016. The album received critical acclaim, with Marten being compared to Joni Mitchell. and Laura Marling for her beautiful lyrics and stripped-down acoustic sound.
