Gordon Ryan has been at the top of the sport of Jiu jitsu for years now.

For a long time he’s seemed unbeatable. Gordon hasn’t lost a match in over five years! Many have tried and many have failed to beat the king.
The only chance the Jiu jitsu community has left to dethrone Gordon? Teamwork.
Gordon Ryan has had three big foes in his Jiu jitsu career.
Felipe Pena is Gordon’s first rival. The two have fought three times before with the fourth match coming up soon!

Craig Jones is Gordon’s second rival. Craig and Gordon had a match that Craig nearly won by snapping Gordon’s arm. Gordon came out with the win and the two became teammates before they had a big fallout.
Andre Galvao is Gordon’s third rival. Andre was the reigning ADCC super fight champion and hadn’t been beaten in years. Gordon disrespected Andre in the lead up to their match, even slapping him. Gordon inevitably beat Andre at the latest ADCC.
It has now come out though that these three rivals of Gordon’s are teaming up to take Gordon down. The team released some photos of them training the past few weeks with the most recent photo coming from Pena’s instagram today.

The trio is most likely training Pena for his final match with Gordon and potentially preparing Craig for a rematch.
I’m routing for this trio to get the job done so that Jiu jitsu can once again have some close competition. Gordon has been at the top for too long and someone eventually has to dethrone the king.
