Being the best in the world at your sport is one thing, but being a superstar is something else completely. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes the two go hand in hand, but theirs something special that makes a superstar stand out from the rest. This is a list of the top 10 biggest sports stars of all time.

This scale will be completely based off of popularity in the athletes own sport. Some athletes are more well known because their sport is bigger but that’s not what we are looking at today.
- Conor McGregor. They don’t call Conor notorious for no reason. There has never been a bigger draw in MMA history then Conor. Every pay per view he’s on sets a new record for the UFC and that’s all thanks to the man himself. Conor doesn’t win every fight but win or lose, he is must see T.V.
- Babe Ruth. Babe Ruth played in the MBL for 22 seasons and certainly left his mark on the game. So much so that you cant have a full conversation without mentioning what Ruth did for the game. His likeable personality and amazing skills helped him sky rocket in popularity as well making him the most well known player in baseball history.
- Muhammad Ali. This one was a obvious choice. Muhammad Ali is not only the greatest boxer of all time but the biggest superstar in combats sports history. His iconic quotes are still said to this day. Everyone around the world will always remember the iconic Muhammad Ali.
- Lionel Messi. I don’t think it’s a debate anymore that Messi is the soccer goat. After his recent win in the World Cup, Messi has solidified that he is the best of all time and the biggest draw in soccer right now. Sorry Ronaldo fans, its just a fact.

1. Michael Jordan. Who else could be number one besides Micheal Jordan. The greatest basketball player of all time, and one of the biggest personalities in sports of all time. Micheal Jordan helped change the game of basketball forever with his unique mentality and his enigmatic personality. That’s why hes the greatest sports superstar of all time.
