The Vancouver Giants seem to be Vancouvers best hope at a winning hockey team this year as the giants win in amazing comeback fashion Saturday night.

With just 1.4 seconds left in the game Samuel Honzek tied the game up 5-5 and sent the giants into a overtime battle. Zack Ostapchuk was able to get the goal in the first period of overtime and won the game for the giants.

Last night the Giants faced Kamloops team the Blazers and took the win in an exciting match up 6-3. While the giants still have a losing record this year at least they’ve been able to put some wins on the board unlike our other local hockey team.
