Nickelback is back! Releasing the new single ‘San Quentin’ as well as announcing new album ‘Get Rollin’’ to be released November 18.

Fans have waited 5 years, since their last album ‘Feed the Machine’ released in 2017, for new Nickelback grunge rock anthems. However, some fans were disappointed to see a change in Nickelback’s Style with their new album ‘Get Rollin’’ adopting a new metalcore sound as opposed to the grunge/rock that fans are used too.

However, change can be a good thing as Chad Kroeger has faced his share of controversy for all his vocals sounding the same, even if such remarks could be considered as satirical on the internet, satire can still hold water amongst the collective fans and warp perceptions.

It’s only fitting that after a 5-year gap of new music the band might want to change directions to something they are passionate about. And passionate they are!

“We’ve spent the last few years making a record at a pace that gave us the freedom to create and we can’t wait for everyone to hear the new music,” says Nickelback in a statement. “We’ve missed the fans and look forward to bringing the new songs to life on stage, so let’s ‘Get Rollin’’

I believe a band is performing at their best when they’re focused on something they care about. Time and time again we read about hoe bands break up or quit making new music because they feel burnt out meeting the same demands of fans and that ‘’their new music isn’t as good as their old music.’’

2022 will be the year in history where nickelback enters the metal scene and if they produce music like their new single ‘San Quentin’ I believe Nickelback will earn their space within the metal community on November 18 when ‘Get Rollin’’ Releases.
