B.C. Rock Music – Elefante

Can you guess who’s headlining the South Hal in Vancouver B.C. on Friday, September 20? It’s none other than Elefante! The location of the vent is 8273 Rosa Street and the doors open at 20:00. The name of their tour is Elefante Canada Tour 2024 and their rock music is very unique! If you don’t know who they are, I’ll provide some background. They are a Latin rock band. The group first came to relevancy when they opened for artist “Joaquin Sabina” in Mexico Cities National Auditorium. After many tours in America opening for amazing artists like Shakira and Mana, something very unfortunate happened. Their lead singer, in the middle of their peak left the band to pursue a solo career in 2003. The band had to think fast and replace him so they did, they recruited Jorge Martinez. He was a former lead singer for the group Caos so he definitely had experience in success.

The band got so successful that in 2005 the band was nominated for a Latin Grammy award. The group has five albums and the self-titled one gained the most success. I love Latin music so I will definitely look into this concert and check out more of their amazing hits.

Some hit songs on their catalog that are worth listening to are: Durmiendo con la Luna, Mentirosa feat. Socios del Ritmo, El Abandonao, De la Noche a la Mañana, Así Es la Vida, Pinta Tu Raya
