Hotel Mira is a Vancouver-based band that is famous for its distinctive sound. The band combines alternative rock sound with an electronic and synth vibe. Once you hear it, you will definitely get up and dance. With their fun and energetic songs, you would not want to miss them performing live.

The members of Hotel Mira include Charlie Kerr on the vocals, Mike Noble on the bass, Clark Grieve on the keyboards, and Cole George on the drums. The band released their first album, “Perfectionism” on Valentine’s day 2020. They collaborated with Grammy-awards winner producer, Eric Ratz, and the album got positive response from their fans.
Following their success, They dropped their latest album, “I am Not Myself”, in September 2023. According to Charlie Kerr, this album mainly explores the theme of identity, and it is so apparent on their single “Dancing in the Moonlight”. The song opens with the lyric “Am I on the brink of a breakthrough, I’m thinking of changing my name”. And on the chorus, lead vocalist Charlie Kerr belts the album title, “I’m not myself, I’m dancing with the moonlight”. This song expresses his anxieties of moving to L.A., knowing that not everyone can actually make it there. However, they wrapped it with the sound of pounding drums and layers of synth, and it ended up to be a head-banging song that you can rock out to.

Hotel Mira’s “I am Not Myself” Canadian tour will begin on January 17, 2024, in Victoria. Then they will continue to Vancouver and Kewlona, before moving on to other provinces. Their shows will be opened by another Vancouver rock band, Fake Shark.
