Faye Webster on Tour at Vogue Theatre

Talented female singer-songwriter Faye Webster will be touring in Vancouver this Friday, November 3^rd at 8:00pm. The venue will be at Vogue Theatre on Granville Street in downtown Vancouver. She plays a variety of indie folk, alternative country, and R&B, and if you want to hear her tunes, then you can book your tickets here.

Faye Webster was born in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, and she’s from a musically talented family. She debuted with her first album, Run and Tell (2013), when she was only sixteen years old. She has an older brother that used to be in a rock band during high school. Her mom knows how to play the guitar and violin. Her grandpa was a bluegrass music guitarist in Texas. Faye Webster grew up in a musical family and that inspired her to write music at a very young age.

It is always a struggle for students to make up their mind for what to study in college because there are so many choices. I remember my high school counsellors say that a large percentage of college students change their mind throughout their education and end up in a different career path. It was the same for Faye Webster, she was devoted to becoming a musician, so she didn’t want to waste her time in college. She signed to Awful Records in 2017, after she dropped out of Belmont University in Nashville. She also signed to the Secretly Canadian record label the year after. That record label name stumped me a bit because it is actually an American company.

Faye Webster has released four studio albums; Run and Tell (2013), Faye Webster (2017), Atlanta Millionaires Club (2019), and I Know I’m Funny Haha (2021), two EPs; Live at Electric Lady (2021), and Car Therapy Sessions (2022), and eleven singles.
