I came across something interesting when researching about this artist. Dan Mangan and his business partner Laura Simpsons made an appearance on an episode of Dragons’ Den. For those who are not familiar with the show, Dragons’ Den is a Canadian television reality show that is about entrepreneurs and pitching investment ideas to venture capitalists. If their ideas are liked by the “Dragons”, then there is a potential of a business partnership and getting investment for a share percentage of their business. Dan Mangan and Laura Simpsons pitched for an investment in his online concert platform, and they were successful to secure a deal with Arlene Dickinson.

Dan Mangan has shared the stage with many artists and musicians from Europe, North America, and Australia. He also performed at various international music festivals in UK, Australia, Canada, USA, Germany, Netherlands, and Croatia. One performance worth mentioning is that he performed for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (William and Kate) on Canada Day in 2011.
