Are you looking for some new tunes to jam to?

Do you want to find a concert in Vancouver to go to in the next few weeks?

The lead singer of the indie rock band Hey Rosetta!, is coming to Vancouver this November. Tim Baker is from the Eastern part of Canada, all the way in the northeastern shores of Newfoundland. I’ve never been to Newfoundland before, but I’ve heard that they have an incredible whale population, and it is a bird paradise for seabird watching. My dad and I are into photography, so I think we need to have a trip over there sometime soon.

Tim Baker has been doing very well on his own and released two full-lengths, three EPs, a bunch of music videos and performed in shows across North America and Europe.

The latest news from Tim is that he released his newest EP, Along the Mountain Road this month and he will be on a national tour joined by Matt Holubowski and Kaley Heynderickx. This is a combination of artists from Eastern and Western Canada, so you don’t want to miss out. Tim will make his journey from the west coast and back to his hometown in the east coast.

If you have time this November, the event will be hosted in Vancouver at St. James Community Square at 7:00pm. The concert will be running two nights in a row on Thursday the 23rd and Friday the 24th, so mark your calendars and see which concert you are able to attend.

Not sure if you still follow the band since their indefinite hiatus in 2017. But if you can believe it, it has been six years since their last performance together. Members of the band have been doing their own things and Tim Baker kept his songwriting creativity juices bounteous. This new EP has five-tracks which includes: Twenty Twenty, Pilgrims, New Key, Moving and Along the Mountain Road.

One thing to note is that to attend this event, you must be 19 years and older with valid Government ID. Minors will not be allowed to the venue.

Let’s look at the first song in the EP, Twenty Twenty.

This song is about the experience that people battled against COVID-19 and metaphorically compared it to the storms of the ocean.

Once again, mark your calendars for the second last week of November to meet Tim and hear his new tunes.
